Robot manufacturers each utilize a proprietary programming languages to control the movements of their robots. Onsite engineers, operators and technicians often have little experience with these languages and they are difficult to learn. As a result, routine modifications often require on-site visits by outside engineers billing at high hourly rates.
RobotHelm is the solution. RobotHelm incorporates a ControLogix programmable logic controller (PLC) to communicate with the robot allowing onsite personnel to handle brand changes, brand modifications and other routine adjustments without outside intervention reducing both scheduled and unscheduled downtime.
RobotHelm's HMI is comfortable and familiar for onsite personnel. The ControLogix PLC allows us to precisely tailor the function of the interface to produce logical and intuitive screen layouts or to precisely mimic layouts from other HMI consoles already in use at your facility. This simplicity gives onsite personnel the ability and confidence to effectively maintain production without outside support.
